Center for Civil and Human Rights

During the turbulent 1960’s, Atlanta took the lead in non-violent social change, marshaling the talents of dynamic leaders from government, business and community.  40 years later, in this same spirit of Willful Intent, the city teamed with businesses and local universities to procure the papers of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and pledged to create a permanent home for these priceless documents: the Center for Civil and Human Rights, opening May 2014.  For the announcement of the project, Superlux scripted this celebration of Atlanta’s role in the civil rights movement, bringing archival photos to life through multi-plane animation.
